Jack Phillips, Ph.D. provides consulting services for Fortune 500 companies and major global organizations. The author or editor of more than 50 books, Phillips conducts workshops and makes conference presentations throughout the world.
His expertise in measurement and evaluation is based on more than 27 years of corporate experience in the aerospace, textile, metals, construction materials, and banking industries. Phillips has served as training and development manager at two Fortune 500 firms, as senior human resource officer at two firms, as president of a regional bank, and as management professor at a major state university.
This background led Phillips to develop the ROI methodology, a revolutionary process that provides bottom-line figures and accountability for all types of learning, performance improvement, human resource, technology, and public policy programs.
Jennifer Martineau, Ph.D. serves as Group Director of Global Research at the Center for Creative Leadership, a not-for-profit research and educational institution with headquarters in Greensboro, NC. She played a foundational role in establishing its evaluation practice through the creation of a 360-degree evaluation assessment, designing and launching an evaluation framework used to guide evaluation studies, and serving as lead evaluator on many leadership development evaluation projects. Her clients include international for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, school systems, and government agencies.
Jennifer earned a doctoral degree in industrial and organizational psychology from the Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of the American Evaluation Association, the American Society for Training and Development, and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and serves on committees and task forces in these organizations. Jennifer is a regular presenter at national and international professional conferences, is published in both peer-reviewed and other publications, and has recently co-edited CCL's The Handbook of Leadership Development Evaluation and the second edition of CCL's Evaluating the Impact of Leadership Development.
